Security Architect with IT Infrastructure Focus

Fugro, a leading global company in the field of information security, is seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join its dynamic team. With a strong focus on designing and implementing secure IT infrastructure solutions, this role requires an expert with a deep understanding of security architecture principles.
SalaryThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, estimated to be around $120,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionThis position involves challenging and advising on the security architecture of Fugro's IT Infrastructure. As a Senior Information Security Officer, you will participate in architecture meetings to ensure compliance with Fugro's information security policies and principles.
- You will challenge proposed IT solutions and designs, determining improvement possibilities on security controls.
- Maintain a holistic overview of security platforms and tools used within the company.
- Advise on the design and implementation of security measures and controls to secure the organization.
- Determine smart solutions for integrating security systems and solutions within the IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to IT and security teams, staying current with the latest security technologies, trends, and threats.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Security in a architectural role, with proven knowledge of Information Security platforms, industry standards, and tools.
- A CISM certificate, or capability to acquire one within 12 months.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of security architectural principles such as ZTA, SABSA, and Jericho.
- Excellent organizational, coordinator, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
