International Payroll Expert for European Markets

Cyclomedia, a leading provider of innovative products and services, is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join its HR team in Zaltbommel, Netherlands. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the European payroll process and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payrolling processing and HR administration, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding various Payroll-related matters, including monthly payroll, expat questions, and personnel administration.

  • Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time for all employees
  • Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees regarding various Payroll-related matters
  • Provide support to the Finance department for the annual closure, using necessary reports on headcount, personnel costs, etc.
  • Guide and facilitate employees on IND procedures, working permits, visas, and 30 % ruling questions
  • Maintain various portals like Nmbrs, UWV, IND, Arbodienst, pension portal, lease company, and ATS system Recruitee
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process and preparing employment contracts
  • Process employee terminations and conduct exit interviews
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience (PDL is preferred)
  • 3+ years' experience in payrolling processing and HR administration
  • Excellent Dutch and English language skills
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Good knowledge of HR fundamentals, including Dutch employment legislation
