About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager/ Customer Journey Expert to join our Digital Mortgage team at ING. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering our digital mortgage propositions, ensuring seamless customer journeys, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the roadmap for our digital mortgage products, based on qualitative and quantitative research, as well as internal and external explorations.
  • Translate features into realizable roadmaps, taking MVP slicing and milestones into account.
  • Define project principles, requirements, and use process designs to visualize changes.
  • Work closely with your fellow team members, both business and IT, on executing plans, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Act as a consultant towards teams that use your solutions, guiding them on how to implement the solutions for optimal adoption and customer experience.
  • Represent ING's needs and wishes in interbank projects, ensuring solutions fit our requirements.
  • Understand the need to comply with regulations and policies, while debating alternatives and challenging the status quo.
  • Solid interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a strong ability to build relevant networks and partnerships in- and outside of ING.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to take decisions based on data and facts.
Requirements
  • Current residency in the Netherlands and fluency in both Dutch and English (verbally and written).
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
  • Relevant recent experience as a business analyst, customer journey expert, process/business consultant, and/or product manager/product owner.
  • Understanding of the mortgages domain and acceptance policies.
  • Experience with source data is a plus, but not a must.
  • Curious mindset for the underlying application architecture, relevant IT-landscape, and technologies.
