About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team at The Next Web. As a Marketing Intern, you'll play a key role in helping us prepare for our annual conference in Amsterdam.

As a member of our Marketing team, you'll work closely with our Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing projects across various channels. You'll have the opportunity to learn new skills, work in a fast-paced environment, and gain valuable marketing experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing team in planning and executing marketing projects
  • Brainstorm creative campaign ideas and write engaging copy for different channels and audiences
  • Assist with the TNW Conference website and ensure it's always up-to-date
  • Help with writing and scheduling email campaigns and producing optimized content for social media channels
  • Design eye-catching marketing materials that reflect The Next Web's brand
  • Provide customer support and engage with our community through our inbox and social media channels

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in a Dutch university or have a valid permit to work in the Netherlands
  • Excellent communication and copy-writing skills, both written and spoken, as well as attention to detail
  • Understanding of using social media for business or proven experience in managing social media accounts
  • Enjoy writing engaging copy and be passionate about marketing
  • Be proactive in your approach to work, creative, and enjoy working in a team
  • Have a good eye for design and imagery, and ideally know your way around Canva or have experience with other design programs
