Sustainability Expert for Energy and Carbon Management

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Expert to join our team in The Netherlands or Belgium. As a key member of our Net Zero Consulting practice, you will help deliver on our fast-growing pipeline of work offering decarbonisation studies, GHG verification assessments, energy auditing, and sustainability services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct energy and carbon audits of client organisations, assets, estates, and portfolios, identifying measures to improve their energy/carbon performance and modelling their impact.
  • Provide advice to clients on long-term strategies to achieve Net Zero alignment, meet targets, and support their sustainability ambitions.
  • Capture strategic pursuits that align with our vision of offering market-leading Net Zero and decarbonisation services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-selling and insourcing of services.
  • Enhance AECOM's own commitments regarding Net Zero, sustainability, and best practice ESG principles.

About You

You will be an early-career consultant with 2-5 years of experience in energy/carbon consulting or sustainability. Your qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Environmental Sciences or Engineering. You must have excellent English language skills and preferably good Dutch language skills.
