About this role:

Overview:

As a key member of the Global Sales Strategy team, you will play a critical role in driving sales performance and growth at Just Eat Takeaway. The team is responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy, providing focus, process, tooling, insights, and skills at a global scale.

This role will focus on analysing sales products and services, defining sales channel strategies, and partner segmentation approaches. You will also be responsible for driving the Sales Strategy & Operations planning cadence, including facilitating KPI setting, monitoring sales performance, and facilitating regular business updates for leadership.

Key responsibilities:
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with global and local sales leadership teams to drive sales performance and growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Own the strategic planning process, working with global sales leadership and 19 markets to establish sales targets.
  • Portfolio Management: Independently own a portfolio of sales strategic business programs, from scoping to successful execution.
  • Sales Product and Service Strategy: Define a sales product and service strategy to ensure partners are successfully set up on the platform.
  • Sales Channel Strategy: Analyse sales channel strategies and advise on the best placement of activities.
  • Sales Playbook: Develop a sales playbook to acquire and lock-in critical partners in key cities.
  • Executive Storytelling: Build executive storylines and presentations for leadership to update on sales progress.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coach a virtual program team of individual contributors in a dynamic and ambiguous matrix organisation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Services.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Extensive experience in Management Consulting, Sales Strategy, Business Development, or related fields.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems, conduct data-driven analysis, and come up with recommendations.
  • Flexibility and Autonomy: Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands, with a sense of urgency.
  • Communication Skills: Superb communication and presentation skills.
  • Influence and Relationship Building: Proven ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English speaker.
