About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement and Category Management Expert to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Global Procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement and category management of technology-related goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key business partners to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the procurement and category management of technology-related goods and services, including software, SaaS, and IT services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best value for the company.
  • Monitor and report on procurement metrics and KPIs to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement and category management, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of leading procurement and category management initiatives that have resulted in cost savings and process improvements.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
