About the Job

We are seeking an ambitious and talented researcher to join our team at the Photonic Integration group (PhI). As a semiconductor researcher, you will be working on the development of new semiconductor technologies for future wireless communication.

Job Description

The job entails designing, developing, and characterizing high-frequency devices, including epitaxy, simulation, fabrication, and characterization. You will work closely with experts from NXP and the IC group to achieve our goals in this project.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from €2,872 to €3,670 per month, depending on your qualifications and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • Knowledge of semiconductor physics
  • Experience with nanofabrication and III-V technology is a plus
  • A can-do attitude and ability to perform teamwork in an international environment
  • Skills in programming and problem-solving

The project is part of the collaborative project with NXP and the IC group at TU Eindhoven, named "Future Wireless Interfaces (FWITEC)". The project focuses on the application of using wireless interconnect to replace physical links, aiming beyond 5G communication technology.
