About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Financial Management and Data Analytics to join our team at SkyTeam Airline Alliance Management Cooperatie U.A. This is a unique opportunity to lead our financial management and data analytics functions, driving strategic decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budget and Control: Lead the discussion and preparation of the budget, steering and optimizing resources consumed. Monitor key project progress and recommend strategic actions to redeploy resources to other initiatives.
  • Data and Analytics: Oversee the integration and analysis of various data sources, including member airlines, internal projects, and external providers. Develop predictive models and analytics to optimize operational performance and budget steering.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in financial management, data analytics, and leadership. You should have at least 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role. You will be responsible for managing large budgets, leading cross-functional teams, and driving strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, sciences, engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Extensive experience, knowledge, and understanding of airline operations, data, and corporate planning.
  • Proven track record of managing large budgets and leading cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in optimization thinking/modeling and data analysis tools.
