As part of the Business Line Services, Operations Advance is responsible for managing projects, delivering technological knowledge, and executing sales. Our team works closely with customers, contractors, and equipment manufacturers to ensure seamless project execution.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced High-Pressure Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of Operations Advance, you will apply your mechanical engineering expertise to design, construct, and commission new Urea factories. You will also help optimize and improve the mechanical performance and reliability of existing facilities.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge of mechanical engineers' tasks and deliverables
  • Preparing specifications and requisitions for proprietary equipment and site services
  • Techncial evaluation and alignment of manufacturer bids
  • Contribution to risk assessments and monitoring of risks through project execution
  • Preparation and participation in pre-award meetings, kick-off meetings, and inspections
  • Supporting EPC contractors and equipment manufacturers
  • Ensuring equipment manufacturers meet quality standards
  • Supplying creative solutions in mechanical and equipment design
  • Advising customers on a mechanical level
  • Drafting repair proposals and guiding execution
  • Developing innovation projects
  • Proposing improvements to work practices, processes, and procedures
  • Working on multiple phased projects
  • Fostering customer focus in professionalism and availability

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Urea mechanical engineering in projects and operational factory experience
  • Broad experience in international engineering contractors business
  • Higher vocational/academic level in Mechanical Engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering within the field of Urea manufacturing plants
  • Knowledge of materials and corrosion phenomena
  • Proficiency in mechanical drafting tools (Auto CAD, Inventor, Plant3D)
  • Knowledge of mechanical calculation tools (PV Elite, DIMY, CAESAR)
  • Good command of written and spoken English
