Key Responsibilities
Innovation & Leadership
• Lead global innovation initiatives to formulate and execute fragrance development strategies that resonate with consumer needs.
• Analyze market, customer, and consumer insights to propose competitive product solutions that drive business success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including perfumers and technical experts, to identify challenges and develop innovative fragrance solutions.
• Manage projects with a strong technical focus related to fragrance technologies and formulations.
• Foster ideation sessions to inspire teams in discovering new consumer solutions and development methodologies.
• Develop a consumer insights strategy to gain a competitive edge and create relevant fragrance offerings.
Project Management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure fragrance strategies align with overarching business goals.
• Maintain a disciplined approach to project execution, ensuring timely market delivery.
• Monitor project outcomes and adapt strategies as necessary to achieve desired results.
• Utilize a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics to define competitive solutions and strategies.
Knowledge Sharing
• Actively disseminate information and insights to empower teams to excel.
• Document and share learnings, market trends, and fragrance solutions with internal and external partners.
People Development
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with global teams and stakeholders.
• Take ownership of your professional growth by setting SMART objectives and collaborating with your manager on a personal development plan.
Qualifications
• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Perfumery, Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a fragrance house or consumer goods environment, preferably in an international context.
• Experience in the Fabric Care category is advantageous.
• Strong olfactory skills; olfactory assessment will be part of the selection process.
