About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Scent Design Associate to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our Fragrance Innovation team, you will be responsible for developing innovative scent strategies and leading regional projects in the Home Care category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop creative strategies for fragrance development and innovation
  • Lead regional projects in the Home Care category, working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with perfumers, consumer insights, marketing, and scent technology teams to drive business growth
  • Manage fragrance selection and identify new winning themes for incoming briefs
  • Develop understanding of consumer olfactive preferences and apply to fragrance strategy
  • Generate project reports and one-pagers to articulate valuable insights for x-category application
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Science or Business
  • Excellent olfactive capabilities (candidates will be required to complete internal smelling test)
  • 1-3 years of industry experience in fragrance development or a related field
  • Home Care category experience is a plus
  • Project Management experience, ideally with some fragrance/product development
