About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Scent Design Associate to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a Scent Design Associate, you will play a key role in developing creative strategies and leading regional projects for our Home & Fabric Care business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement olfactive strategies to support the success of our regional and category business.
  • Learn and leverage market product knowledge and brand portfolio knowledge to guide the creative process.
  • Screen down fragrance themes against project objectives and develop a basic understanding of how to create an olfactive strategy.
  • Leverage different technologies for Home Care projects and identify new winning themes for incoming briefs.
  • Develop understanding of consumer olfactive preferences and apply on fragrance strategy and provide feedback to Perfumers.
  • Communicate effectively with various functions, including perfumers, consumer insights, marketing, scent technology, commercial, management, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree, preferably in Science or Business.
  • Excellent olfactive capabilities, with the ability to complete internal smelling tests.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience, preferably in a fragrance house or consumer goods company.
  • Home Care category experience is a plus.
  • Project Management experience, ideally with some fragrance/product development.
