About the Role:
The Technical Department Manager R&D Operations will lead the R&D Operations department, responsible for the talent management, way of working, and output of the team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, influence product development, and collaborate within a dynamic cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the R&D Operations department, comprising approximately 15 engineers located in the Netherlands and India, and define the group composition, including required proficiencies, resources, and skills.
- Ensure successful introduction and sustaining of high-quality, serviceable, and reliable products.
- Process owner for Quality System Processes, defining and implementing process improvement activities.
- Responsible for Software Development Environment, Configuration Management, IT management, and lab certification.
- Handle relationships with suppliers and partners, and internally with R&D wide departments and global IT departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years of technical software development and demonstrated ability in People & Project management with strong communication skills.
- Very experienced with Healthcare Regulatory aspects (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, IEC60601, ISO13485, ISO14971), effective communication skills, and a continuous improvement attitude.
- Transformational leader with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, security, healthcare products, and experience in Windows & Linux.
