About the Role

The Technical Portfolio Manager will be responsible for supporting the investment managers in the Private ABS and Infrastructure team within Alternative Fixed Income. This role will involve assuming responsibility for operational portfolio management processes, including loan transaction execution, valuation and reporting oversight, and coordination with Middle Office and Back Office departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of loan transaction execution, including execution of loan documentation, setting up transactions in our trading systems, and coordinating capital calls with investors.
  • Be the main point of contact for all relevant Middle Office and Back Office departments.
  • Be responsible for various portfolio management tasks, including monitoring of existing investments, reviewing and static data management, loan covenant monitoring and testing, safeguarding and monitoring investment mandate restrictions, operational tasks w.r.t. periodic payments, cash reconciliation, etc.
  • Be responsible for different kinds of reporting, such as investment and commitment reporting to internal and external counterparties and stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for various governance and audit tasks, such as assisting in annual or ad-hoc audit cycles, contribute to updates of relevant policies and procedures, etc.
  • Be responsible for aspects within the transaction due diligence phase, including CDD/KYC preparation, collecting ESG information, collecting and storing preliminary transaction documentation, etc.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and economics, with experience in operational handling of private assets at another asset management firm or at a bank. They will also have experience or affinity with loan/bond administration systems and data analysis. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Dutch is a plus. The candidate will be a dedicated team player with a hands-on mentality and a results-oriented approach.
