About the Role

As a key member of our Portfolio Management team, you will be responsible for managing our mortgage and savings portfolios. This includes activities such as interest rate risk hedging, credit risk assessments, Retail Banking funding, and pricing determination for NIBC mortgages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to drive strategic initiatives
  • Manage and analyze complex numerical problems to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Retail Banking Management Team and Executive Board Members
  • Collaborate with experts from various fields on strategic projects
  • Act as a mentor to junior colleagues, enhancing their skills and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth

Requirements
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in a subset of the following fields: Basel Framework, hedging, pricing, liquidity risk, behavioural modelling, prepayment risk, valuation of mortgage loans, structuring and reporting
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PowerBI
