Data Analyst Intern: Unlocking Coffee and Tea Insights

We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our team at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS. This role will provide an opportunity to work on various projects, including data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization.

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be part of our Consumer Science and Intelligence team, where you will gain valuable insights into the entire R&D process. You will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to creating insights that impact the world of coffee and tea.

In this role, you will support the End-to-End Consumer Customer Insights team in designing experiments, analyzing data, and creating impactful data visualizations. You will also work on personal research projects to unleash possibilities in the coffee and tea business. Additionally, you will engage in statistical challenges brought by researchers in R&D to the Modelling and Statistics team.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong MS Office skills, fluent proficiency in English, and experience with coding languages such as R or Python. You should also possess a structured approach, driven personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

We offer a competitive monthly internship allowance of €525 (full-time), travel compensation if you don't have a free public transport card, paid holidays for each internship term, and two weeks of remote working anywhere in Europe. Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a BSc or MSc program in Statistics, Data Science, or Food Science/Technology
  • Strong MS Office skills and fluent English proficiency
  • Experience with coding languages (R or Python) is preferred but not mandatory
  • Structured approach, driven personality, excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
