About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen brigade and act as a coach and motivator for a team of 10 staff members. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple hospitality concepts, maintaining order and calm under pressure, and effectively allocating tasks to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences;
  • Maintain thorough preparation and task allocation to ensure seamless operations across different hospitality concepts;
  • Create innovative dishes and menus that exceed guest expectations while effectively managing costs;
  • Collaborate with clients on event planning, offering surprising recommendations that meet their needs;
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our hotels through active participation in the Management Team.

Requirements

  • Same level experience as a Head Chef;
  • Experience working in restaurants, banqueting, and events, with a deep understanding of kitchen operations in various settings;
  • Proven leadership experience with a strong focus on team motivation and coaching;
  • Thorough knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety, and safety regulations;
  • Able to maintain an overview across multiple outlets, multitask, and set priorities to meet deadlines;
  • Strong listening skills and effective response to complaints and challenges from the team or guests.
