Join Our Team as a Global Net Zero Sustainability Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our global net zero sustainability efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing our net zero strategy, working collaboratively with zone and function teams to deliver our greenhouse gas emissions targets and commitments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive net zero strategy, aligned with our company's sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with zone and function teams to define and deliver specific initiatives, including mapping out initiatives with top suppliers and partners, coordinating timing, results, cost, impact, etc.
  • Create business cases to secure investment and public funding for net zero initiatives, including CAPEX, COGS, or external support needed to deliver our greenhouse gas commitments.
  • Build and manage processes to monitor and track our global net zero roadmap, providing insights to key achievements and decision requirements, and holding zones and functions accountable for delivering plans and capturing value.
  • Establish effective project management and governance surrounding key partnerships related to greenhouse gas commitments.
  • Structure and execute internal and external forums to share expectations and greenhouse gas ambitions, facilitate idea generation, best practice sharing, and preferred investment opportunities.
  • Identify and propose initiatives aligned to greenhouse gas emissions targets and commitments to relevant decision bodies.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience defining and implementing sustainability strategies focused on greenhouse gases, preferably in the food industry.
  • 5+ years of experience defining and building partnerships focused on sustainability with diverse entities and enrolling stakeholders across multiple levels of seniority and roles.
  • 8+ years of total professional experience, including sustainability and at least one of the following areas: food value chain, agriculture, NGO, or research organization in the food sector.
  • Ability to simplify complex challenges into clear strategies, roadmaps, and actionable initiatives.
  • Proven track record of delivering financial and non-financial objectives according to plan.
  • Excellent self-management and organizational skills.
