Administrative Clerk I/II

Position: Administrative Clerk I/II in the Department of Anaesthesiology, School of Clinical Medicine

This role is offered on a temporary basis for one year or a fixed term of two years, with the potential for renewal based on performance.

Candidates should hold a higher diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or possess 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), and Mathematics. Alternatively, candidates with a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE, including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience will be considered. A strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese is essential, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A keen sense of responsibility and attention to detail are also crucial. Applicants with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered for the position of Clerk II.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily office functions, addressing inquiries, and executing additional tasks as directed by supervisors. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in a written assessment and an interview.

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with annual leave and medical benefits. A two-year fixed-term appointment will include a contract-end gratuity and contributions to a retirement benefits scheme, amounting to a total of up to 10% of the basic salary.
