Job Title: Order Fulfillment Process Optimization Specialist

At Adidas, we are seeking a highly skilled Order Fulfillment Process Optimization Specialist to drive end-to-end process improvements in our Wholesale and Retail operations. As a specialist, you will leverage fact-based insights and analytical skills to optimize processes, drive system enhancements, and ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization: Ensure smooth operation of Order Fulfillment BPM processes and address any arising issues.
  • Results Delivery: Deliver results in complex business environments, responding to operational challenges and adapting Order Fulfillment processes as needed.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Create analyses and drive actions to improve IBP achievement from the SCM side, providing analytical transparency and streamlining communication with stakeholders.
  • Weekly Reporting: Own weekly reporting, deriving business insights, and providing key highlights and recommended actions to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data, develop reporting, and provide insights to support effective decision-making for senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Drive analysis and optimization of business processes and system enhancements to improve overall organization performance.
  • Project Management: Initiate, lead, and manage projects for order book management solutions, evaluating existing operational processes to improve efficiency or support new process development.
  • Collaboration: Work independently and collaboratively within own area and cross-functionally with other SCM teams to deliver against shared objectives.
  • Process Implementation: Ensure BPM operational processes are correctly and timely implemented by the GBS hub in Porto and that any changes are adopted as a new way of working.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Develop and strengthen collaboration between the GBS hub in Porto and the local Planning and Governance Hub in Amsterdam to optimize support and process alignment.
  • Leadership: Lead regular cross-functional alignment meetings.
  • Supply Chain Support: Support supply chain initiatives such as roll-out and ramp-downs of new DCs.
  • Authorization and Coordination: Local authorization coordinator (SAP AFS).
  • Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and manage direct reports, ensuring objectives align with company strategy and developing clear development plans.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • BPM Knowledge: Good understanding of BPM processes and tools and their impact on the overall business.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to develop analytical reports through Excel or PowerBI, with a good understanding of data and ability to pinpoint root causes.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to adapt communication style according to stakeholders involved.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to efficiently collaborate with both on-site and remote stakeholders.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of e2e supply chain processes, understanding the mechanics of material, information, and financial flow from sourcing to customer.
  • Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of logistics cost and service drivers.
  • Operations and Commercial Mindset: Operations as well as commercial mindset, end-to-end thinking.
  • Initiative and Results Orientation: Demonstrating initiative and acting result-oriented.
  • Strategic, Operational, and Project Management Experience: Strategic, operational, and project management experience.
  • Team Player: Strong team player.
  • Language Skills: English fluent (written and oral).
Requisite Education and Experience:
  • Education: University degree or equivalent.
  • Supply Chain Experience: 3-5 years working experience in Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
  • Process Optimization Experience: 2 years of Process Optimization experience in international teams.
  • SAP Knowledge: SAP know-how (SD and MM).
