The Head of Global Transformation plays a pivotal role in driving organisational change and strategic transformation through a centre of excellence for change at Just Eat Takeaway. The role closely collaborates with business leaders to deliver change support on global strategic projects and programs aligned to our business strategy and priorities, maximising adoption and growth.

The Head of Global Transformation leads the global capability and infrastructure of change management, including:

  • Lead Change Managers, who partner Exco to design and deliver end-to-end change plans and methodologies to drive strategic business priorities and projects effectively.
  • Senior HR Change specialists, who design and deliver end-to-end change plans and methodologies to support HR Portfolio initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead:

  • Responsible for building a global centre of expertise for change in the organisation, setting change and quality standards, and continuous improvement practices for Just Eat Takeaway.
  • Establish, lead, and influence a global change agent community and network, creating matrix connections and setting the standard on change with all change and delivery-related roles and teams.
  • Promote change leadership and the need for change management across the organisation.
  • Team leadership of change professionals, including performance management, development, and effective allocation of resources to business priorities and stakeholders.
  • Adapt change approaches to organisational needs and provide flexibility to achieve the best results in the Just Eat Takeaway environment.

Deliver:

  • Provide guidance and coaching to Management Board and Exco members to develop an aligned vision for change with business strategic and transformational programs.
  • Empower and develop Lead Change Managers to act as 'change partners' for Exco members and support the delivery of change within Exco-sponsored programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Strategy & Projects team and Internal Communications to ensure change delivery is aligned with the Just Eat Takeaway vision, mission, purpose, and key initiatives.

Care:

  • Collaborate with the Global Learning team to design and implement scalable training and learning solutions to build change awareness and capability across all layers of the organisation.
  • Curate and deliver targeted learning solutions for the SLC and Exco to develop change sponsorship and leadership.

Requirements:

  • Higher education degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or related subjects or equivalent by experience.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives and maturing change capability in a global complex organisation in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to simultaneously manage, coordinate, and execute a number of complex projects.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to evolving organisational needs.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience of team management, with the ability to inspire and motivate others during times of change.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including developing and delivering presentations, written communications, and training materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with an understanding of the cultural and psychological factors that influence people at work.
  • High organisational sensitivity and empathetic on a personal level.
  • A proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships, able to gain trust, respect, and confidence quickly to influence and coach teams, senior stakeholders, including c-suite and key partners.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate strategic priorities and application, and translate these into both short and long-term experiences of the team and take a hands-on approach.

Success Metrics:

  • Increase employee engagement levels during change initiatives.
  • Achieve reduction in resistance to change across the organisation.
  • Successfully complete change management initiatives within budget and timeline.
  • Improve employee satisfaction with change management efforts, as measured by employee surveys.
  • Increase senior leadership stakeholder satisfaction with change management initiatives, as measured by feedback and evaluations.
