About the Role

Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam is seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operational engineering team, you will be responsible for leading complex engineering projects with a focus on maritime and structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate, budget, and plan operational engineering projects
  • Manage and inform the engineering team about project planning and progress
  • Develop concepts, designs, and engineering solutions for structural operational projects
  • Perform calculations and modeling using software like Ansys, Solid Edge, and Autocad
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and offshore crew, with the ability to travel offshore as needed
Requirements
  • MSc. in Maritime-, Mechanical-, Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a comparable field
  • At least 7 years of experience in operational engineering projects with a focus on structural engineering
  • Proficiency in software like Ansys, Solid Edge, and Autocad
  • Experience managing an engineering team and operational engineering projects
  • Practical experience during project execution is a plus
