About the Job

At Zien Group, we're looking for a passionate and friendly House Host Trainee to join our team at Jan Luyken, a unique townhouse in the heart of Amsterdam. As a House Host, you'll be the primary point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm and welcoming experience. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our townhouse, attending to guests' needs, and presenting our brand in its best light.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in maintaining the townhouse's high standards and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guests' queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with fellow hosts to enhance the guest experience and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take ownership of presenting our townhouse in its best light, maintaining the approved appearance and standards.
  • Bring the unique hospitality and culture of our brand to life, ensuring that every interaction reflects the experience of staying at a close friend's home.

Requirements

  • You're a natural people person, warm, open, and welcoming.
  • You're fluent in Dutch and English, with a good command of English preferred.
  • You're flexible and able to work alternating shifts.
  • You're available to do an internship for 5-6 months, ideally from July to September.
