We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Subsea Cables team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of engineering and contribute to the preparation and execution of our innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting specifications and procedures for our projects and designs within the set framework and customer and contractual requirements.
- Develop innovative technical solutions to provide optimal solutions to customers and mitigate risks to a minimum level.
- Define scope, provide calculations, and check engineering work executed by other departments or subcontractors.
- Assist and advise during the execution of tenders and live projects, including on-site or onboard our vessels.
- Identify lessons learned and assist with the implementation of related follow-up actions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be in your 3rd or 4th year of your bachelor or master studies in Civil engineering, Marine engineering, Offshore Engineering, or Mechanical engineering.
- To have good communication skills and a good knowledge of the English language, both written and verbally.
- To be motivated and eager to learn.
- To be a team player, proactive, and have a hands-on mentality.
