About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Eindhoven. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities, improving our market position, and leading complex sales projects across Belgium and the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate new business relationships and develop strong relationships with existing clients to drive a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Manage large-scale and complex sales projects, delivering personal business targets and contributing to overall new business growth.
  • Leverage various sales channels to prospect, including existing relationships, external events, and networking, representing the GXO brand.
  • Help and guide internal colleagues in developing logistics solutions with new businesses.
  • Support the development of bid responses, case studies, customer testimonials, past performance, accreditations, and marketing collateral with content and messaging focused on customer needs.
  • Manage prospects/customer inquiries, including Q&As, customer updates, and attending customer briefings or arranging attendees for customer meetings, preparing high-quality presentation material.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of the contract logistics (3PL) sector.
  • Extensive experience in various sales activities and leading large projects, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects within contract logistics.
  • Good commercial awareness, including finance, negotiation, and legal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with Dutch and French being a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, team spirit, pro-active, and forward-thinking approach.
