The Senior Manager R&D will lead the development of groundbreaking products that enable science, driving innovation and growth strategies for the Life Science, Material Science, and Semiconductor Business Units. This role requires a strategic and operational leader who can coordinate product development strategies and initiatives with peers, architects, Business Units, Advanced Technology, and Software organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute product roadmaps that achieve business growth strategies
- Lead and encourage a global team of experts to develop next-generation products
- Build and manage a high-performing team to deliver new technologies and products
- Own and drive the TEM Platform Portfolio for the 3 Business Product units
- Provide technical leadership, vision, and strategy to the team and stakeholders
- Collaborate with other business departments to align activities and work
- Drive extraordinary quality in product development and support
- 10+ years of experience in Research & Development, Product Engineering
- University technical degree and a PhD/MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of people management experience
- Experience running budgets of $5-20M
- Outstanding interpersonal, collaborative, communicational, strategical, planning, and organization skills
