European Dynamics seeks a skilled Strategic Solutions Professional to join our team in The Hague, Netherlands. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience.

About the Role

We are looking for an expert with over 9 years of experience in ICT Solution Architecture and Design. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining solutions (blueprinting) together with peers in the Architecture team and delivery project engineers;
  • Assessing technologies and products suitable for the solution to be deployed or amended, including security, application, and infrastructure aspects;
  • Collaborating actively with the security and compliance teams, within and outside of ICT, to devise, discuss, and agree on applicable security and compliance controls matching Europol policies and regulations;
  • Writing OAUTH authentication mechanisms and implementing validation mechanisms as unit and integration tests;
  • Providing engineering and delivery teams guidance and clarifications on solution or product characteristics, behaviour expected, and objectives to be achieved.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree and more than 9 years of experience in ICT Solution Architecture and Design;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in solution architecture definition, documentation, and delivery support;
  • Experience in at least one project devising big data solutions leveraging technologies such as Elasticsearch, Neo4J, NoSQL databases, and SQL databases;
  • Experience with solutions related to data acquisition processing, reporting, analytics solutions, such as data visualization, pipelining, etc.;
  • Good Knowledge of microservices-based architectures and supporting data/application integration methods;
  • Knowledge of ArchiMate or other equivalent architecture notation;
  • An excellent command of the English language.
