The estimated annual salary for this position is between €60,000 and €120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team in The Hague, Netherlands. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining solution architectures and blueprints in collaboration with peers and delivery project engineers;
  • Assessing technologies and products suitable for deployment or amendment, including security, application, and infrastructure aspects;
  • Collaborating with security and compliance teams to devise, discuss, and agree on applicable security and compliance controls;
  • Developing OAUTH authentication mechanisms and implementing validation mechanisms as unit and integration tests;
  • Providing guidance and clarifications to engineering and delivery teams on solution characteristics, behavior, and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree and over 9 years of experience in ICT Solution Architecture and Design;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in solution architecture definition, documentation, and delivery support;
  • Experience in at least one project devising big data solutions leveraging technologies such as Elasticsearch, Neo4J, NoSQL databases, and SQL databases;
  • Good knowledge of microservices-based architectures and supporting data/application integration methods;
  • Knowledge of ArchiMate or other equivalent architecture notation;
  • An excellent command of the English language.
