Background information

We as HR team support the Customer Support (CS) department which are responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations and supporting the customers in the use of these systems in their production process. In Veldhoven more than 1,000 CS employees work at our headquarters.

As HR team we enable a future proof organization that generates people & business impact in a fast-paced high-tech industry. We achieve this by creating an inclusive culture where leaders coach, people learn & develop, teams collaborate and where well-being & health is a priority.

Your assignment

The complexity of our organization and the diversity of our workforce is increasing rapidly. Around 40% of our workforce is new to the company. Therefore, some important focus areas of this year are ESG sustainability, providing the best possible employee experience and enable our employees & leaders to bring the best out themselves & others.

The goal of your internship assignment is to work with us as a HR team member, taking part in all activities related to above focus areas. Some tasks will be:

Join projects to organize sessions to promote above focus areas

Providing operational support to the HR Business Partners, line management and employees

Reporting on HR workforce analytics

Preparing the monthly HR newsletter for the business

Join business meetings on HR topics

Besides your tasks, you will get the chance to network with people from other HR departments, as well as with other interns through the ASML Intern Community.


Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

Are a bachelor/HBO or master student in Human Resources or related;

Have a great affinity with well-being, diversity & inclusion, people development and organizational savvy;

Are a self-starter, driven, enthusiastic, with an open communication style;

Are able to work well in a team;

Have great communication skills in English, both written and verbally.

This is a bachelor/HBO or master apprentice internship to gain work experience. The minimum duration is 6 months, for 4/5 days per week. The start date of this assignment is around September 2024.
