Why your role matters 
As Senior Marketing Manager, you'll play a central role in shaping our brand's future. This is a combined strategic and hands-on role, giving you the opportunity to directly influence how we tell our story, both internally and externally. You'll lead the launch of a new website, create fresh marketing materials, and guide a small, talented team (3FTE) to support our growth in new markets. Your leadership will be key in strengthening our presence and driving our marketing initiatives forward. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Strategic Planning & Execution (50-60%): Lead the way in developing and refining our messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies. You'll oversee the creation and launch of a new website and marketing materials that reflect our updated company's direction.
  • Team Leadership (20-25%): Manage and guide a small, dynamic marketing team. You'll set clear goals, offer feedback, and support their professional growth while ensuring they adapt to the new strategic direction. Collaboration is key, so you'll work closely with other teams like Sales, Business Development, and Engineering to ensure marketing is aligned.
  • Ongoing Marketing Initiatives (20-25%): Execute day-to-day marketing activities such as lead generation campaigns, email marketing, paid media, and events. You'll manage demand generation efforts and make sure they support our overall goals to boost our pipeline and drive engagement.

  • A fresh website and updated marketing materials that clearly reflect the company's new direction.
  • A go-to-market strategy that's been executed successfully and driving tangible results
  • A marketing team that operates smoothly, with each member taking ownership and working independently.
  • Real progress in entering or expanding into new markets, backed by measurable impact.
Your profile
  • B2B Marketing experience: You have 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing, with a strong focus on positioning, messaging, and product marketing.
  • Marketing expertise: You've successfully led B2B marketing campaigns, including lead generation, event management, and brand awareness initiatives, with a proven track record in delivering results.
  • Team Builder: You're an experienced team leader, comfortable setting goals, providing guidance, and helping your team grow through change.
  • Strategic & Hands-on: You can balance big-picture strategic thinking with the hands-on execution needed to get things done.
  • Growth-focused: You have experience opening or expanding into new markets and know how to approach market growth and development.
  • Agile: You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, where change is constant, and you can adapt quickly.
  • Communication: You're fluent in English (Dutch is helpful, but not required)
  • Remote vs Onsite: This is a hybrid role, so you'll spend some time working onsite at our Rotterdam office. If you're already in the Netherlands, great If not, we're happy to support your move with our relocation services (a valid EU work permit is required).
Nice to haves
  • Tooling: Familiarity with HubSpot or other marketing automation tools.
  • Content creation skills: Strong copywriting, content marketing, and/or product marketing experience.
  • Technical affinity: You have a strong interest in and understanding of infrastructure, cloud, or networking, and are eager to apply your marketing skills to these types of solutions.
