Operations Manager | Holland, MI

Salary Range: $107,000 - $155,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Holland seeking Operations Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and meet output targets.
  • Implement and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Develop and enforce quality control standards to ensure product excellence and minimize defects.
  • Lead, train, and manage production teams, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor operational budgets, identify variances, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and production planning software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency with advanced ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor)
  • Experience with automation technologies or Industry 4.0 initiatives
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
