Data Analyst

Chiesi is looking for a driven Data Analyst to join the Benelux affiliate. Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful insights that drive smarter business decisions? What will you do?

As a Data Analyst you will be part of the Commercial Excellence team. In this role, you'll play a key part in empowering stakeholders across the Benelux organization with data-driven insights. You'll manage and maintain our Business Intelligence (BI) and CRM systems, prepare periodic reports, and help guide the implementation of new tools and analytics processes.

You combine analytical expertise with strong business acumen, thriving at the intersection of data, technology, and strategy.

Furthermore, you will:

• Collect data, convert data and load it into the data warehouse;
• Analyse and interpret the collected data;
• Visualise the collected data in visualization reports (Power BI) and attach conclusions to this;
• Present the findings within the various consultation forums and challenge internal stakeholders;
• Monitor the reporting performance and sharpen periodic reports and dashboards and develop new reports, dashboards and KPI's based on business issues or internal customer requests;
• Arrange for the development and improvement of the Business Intelligence and/or CRM system;
• Map the data flows within the organization and structure the available data;
• Help to set up frameworks and processes to assure the data quality (data validation) and monitor their compliance;
• Maintain and update the data model and identify new data intelligence possibilities;
• Train (new) users in the application of the various systems and dashboards and monitors their proper use;
• Work with the Commercial Excellence team and the data warehouse provider to capture and process the data from various digital channels and construct the data marts required for analytical work and deployment of personalized customer engagement tactics;
• Work on data governance.

Who are we looking for?

You have a strong technical background and hands-on coding skills in DAX, R, or Python. Working with data is your passion, you love transforming complex information into clear insights that drive business impact. You excel at building connections across teams, fostering collaboration, and delivering results. With experience in a commercial environment, you understand how to measure and optimize marketing and sales performance. Flexible and agile, you thrive in a fast-paced setting where priorities evolve quickly. Most importantly, you're genuinely inspired by healthcare and medicine, and motivated to contribute to better patient outcomes through data-driven innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience;
• Knowledge of data management and/or data science;
• Knowledge of digital data analysis;
• Affinity with medicine and healthcare systems – a medical background is a strong plus;
• Knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools;
• Knowledge of CRM systems;
• Located in the Netherlands or Belgium;
• Knowledge of DAX, Python or R is preferred.
