The
Director, Sales Operations
will lead the development and execution of best-in-class processes, tools, and reporting to drive commercial discipline, operational excellence, and sales effectiveness across the organization. This strategic role ensures that our global sales teams operate with consistency, efficiency, and focus—enabling scalable growth and improved commercial performance. Supporting our market-focused sales organization for the Transportation & Logistics (T&L) market, this position plays a pivotal role in helping Littelfuse capture growth opportunities across the full portfolio of products from all Business Units (BUs). By driving alignment, transparency, and process excellence, the Director, Sales Center of Excellence will strengthen collaboration across teams and elevate our commercial capabilities.
About The Job
Sales Process & Governance
- Develop and enforce standardized sales processes across regions and business units to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Implement CRM governance (LFBC), ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and user adoption.
- Define and monitor sales KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Pipeline & Forecast Management
- Oversee New Business Opportunity (NBO) tracking to ensure visibility and timely pipeline conversion.
- Lead sales forecasting and demand planning in partnership with Finance, Operations, and Product Management.
- Manage the annual revenue budgeting process to align with strategic objectives.
Pricing & Margin Management
- Own pricing governance, including price list management, price realization, and tariff tracking.
- Partner with Finance and Product Management to ensure margin integrity and competitive positioning.
Sales Enablement & Inside Sales
- Design and implement Inside Sales processes to strengthen lead qualification and customer engagement.
- Develop training, onboarding, and enablement programs to enhance sales capabilities and tool adoption.
Analytics & Reporting
- Build and maintain advanced reporting tools and dashboards that deliver actionable insights for leadership.
- Use data visualization and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Strategy, Finance, Product Management, and Operations to align initiatives and drive growth priorities.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, or Business Transformation roles.
- Proven success in automotive, industrial, or technology sectors.
- Expertise in CRM systems, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of pricing strategy and governance.
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
