Job Description

At the location of ADM Europoort B.V. we process soybeans and rapeseed. We make various products from this, such as flour and oil for the food and animal feed industry. More than 325 people work at ADM Europoort in the bulk terminal, crush & extraction factory, refinery and soy protein concentrate (SPC) factory. These departments are supported by our own chemical and microbiological laboratory, maintenance & reliability department and the SHEQ department. We also work closely with our in-house contractors who provide (industrial) cleaning, scaffolding, insulation work and technical support.

The ADM Europoort office also houses large commercial and logistics departments, process automation and CAPEX project management teams; as well as departments for payroll, HR and IT.

Logistics & Executions Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics & Execution Coordinator to join our biodiesel operations team at ADM International Sàrl, based at our Europoort site. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of contracts, ensuring that all biodiesel movements between our plants in Germany to the FARAG (Flushing Amsterdam Rotterdam Antwerp Ghent) region and transactions are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with sustainability and regulatory standards.

You will coordinate closely with traders, customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in an international environment where logistics, sustainability, and execution come together.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily updating and maintenance of stock records in Excel;
• Solid understanding of purchase, sales, and freight contracts;
• Preparing or coordinating shipping documents for customers;
• Executing letters of credit;
• Verifying orders against contract terms, settled quantities, and stock availability;
• Creating orders along with necessary delivery documents and proforma invoices;
• Preparing nominations for clients, ship agents, and inspectors;
• Registering orders and ensuring all required documents are available on time and accurately;
• Proposing and implementing corrective actions with buyer approval;
• Escalating deviations or issues to the direct supervisor;
• Recording orders and transport details with agents and carriers;
• Managing goods insurance via automated systems;
• Supporting other logistical teams when workload requires;
• Maintaining communication with customers, storage terminals, barge operators, transport companies, and other logistics partners;
• Ensuring accurate settlements with suppliers and transporters, including demurrage, despatch, and final invoicing for raw materials.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Economics, or a related field;
• Solid communication skills in Dutch and English; German is a plus;
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with daily software tools such as Word, Outlook, and automated systems;
• Ability to comprehend complex administrative and logistical processes, internal procedures, documents, and contracts;
• Collaborative mindset, actively supporting colleagues and stepping in when needed;
• Proactive attitude with the ability to identify issues and take prompt action.
