Do you want end-to-end financial ownership of a real-estate portfolio in an international setting? For the European team of Mapletree, a fast-growing real-estate investor headquartered in Singapore, we are hiring a Property Accountant to make an impact from the Amsterdam office.

Mapletree is a leading international real-estate developer and investment manager with a high-quality portfolio across Europe, Asia and the US, focused on growth and quality. From the Amsterdam office you will work closely with external property managers (e.g., Savills, CBRE) and the finance team in Singapore. The culture is professional, entrepreneurial and international.

As Property Accountant you are responsible for the full financial administration of your portfolio. You act as the link between external property managers and the finance team in Singapore, ensuring reliable reporting, insightful analysis and a smooth year-end close.

Key responsibilities

  • Review reports prepared by external property managers.
  • Prepare financial reports for HQ Singapore.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts; perform credit reviews for prospective tenants and vendors.
  • Validate service-charge reconciliations and post journal entries.
  • Act as a sparring partner to HQ Singapore on financial and administrative topics.
  • Proactively drive process improvements and efficiency.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international environment.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Accurate, independent and proactive; eye for detail and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills; fluency in English, Dutch is a plus.
