Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Hoofddorp for a Senior Ocean Freight Specialist. In this position, you will manage day-to-day operations related to ocean freight services. Responsibilities include overseeing freight forwarding activities, coordinating logistics for clients, and ensuring efficient supply chain management. The role also requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships, liaising with carriers, and ensuring high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Freight, Freight Forwarding, and Logistics Management is required.
  • Proven skills in Customer Service and client relationship management.
  • Excellent Communication skills to coordinate with clients, carriers, and team members effectively.
  • Experience working in the logistics or freight industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, such as Dutch or Mandarin, is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Hoofddorp and manage tasks independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
