Our Global Retail Department is responsible for more than 1200 stores worldwide and focusses on optimizing performance and processes around it. They are the linking pin between 12 local offices and the Central Head Office in Amsterdam.

Our Wholesale and Travel Retail Department works together with top perfumeries like Douglas, Sephora, Boots and Kicks, prestigious department stores such as Galeria, El Cortes Ingles, Bijenkorf and Ahlens. With 3,500 wholesale locations and shops at over 550 airports, planes, cruises and ferries, Wholesale & Travel Retail is able to add that extra bit of luxury and comfort to every moment of our customers’ journeys, near and far.

Retail Training and Development

Our International Training and Development Department at Rituals plays a key role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our global workforce. Our team is dedicated to crafting comprehensive training programs and initiatives that empower our employees worldwide.

We collaborate closely with local training teams across various regions to tailor our programs to meet the specific needs of each market while ensuring alignment with our company's overarching goals and values.

What you’ll do

• Assist to develop specific training programs, whether this is online or offline.
• Provide support with projects, video, and photoshoots, be involved in storyboard & script writing, build, and update online learning modules and coordinate the translation process.
• Support with the international training & development mailbox making sure all our learners have access to the right content on our digital learning platform.
• Additionally, we offer a fast paced and innovative environment so each day will bring new and exciting projects and the potential to learn and give input into our ever-growing business.

Retail Commercial Development

The Commercial Development Team is responsible for the development of the commercial cycle strategy and calendars for all Rituals shops worldwide. These plans are shared with shops every campaign period, so they have the right tools to perform at their best and offer top-notch service to customers. Collaborating closely with teams in marketing activation, promotions, in-store communication, visual merchandising, format and design, and training and development, we ensure seamless execution of our strategies.

 What you’ll do

• Supporting the development of the commercial briefings and calendars for all markets worldwide
• Assisting in gaining insights into customer experience
• Supporting commercial and operational projects (e.g. Shop challenges, Holiday Season)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer experiences. 

Retail Operational Excellence

During this internship, you will provide support to the Retail Operational Excellence team. You will report to the Team Lead of Retail Operational Excellence and will have a supportive role within the team. The Retail Operational Excellence team oversees operations in all shops worldwide. Our department manages various commercial and operational projects aimed at benefiting employees globally, ensuring they have the necessary tools to deliver best in class performance and provide excellent service to our customers.

What you’ll do

 Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily retail operational tasks such as:

• Retail communication,
• Maintaining the knowledge base,
• Quality issues
• Cash management and handling ad-hoc activities.
• Additionally, you will be involved in communicating with markets, providing support for international retail projects from development to implementation, and liaising with our stores to gather best practices and feedback.

Retail Partnership Team

Join a dynamic and impactful team that bridges the gap between global strategy and local market execution. As part of Rituals’ Retail Partnership Team, you will play a supporting role in ensuring seamless collaboration between our Central Head Office and our key Partners across Asia and the Middle East. 

Our team is responsible for aligning strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring consistency in marketing, retail operations, and brand execution. Working closely with departments like Marketing, Activation, Communication, Format & Design, and In-store Communication, you will become a crucial link in driving our brand’s growth and innovation in some of the most exciting regions of the world.

What you’ll do:

• Play a supporting role in developing commercial briefings and calendars for our partner markets.
• Act as a communication link between head office and local partner teams, ensuring clarity and consistency.

• Collaborate across departments to drive efficiency, operational excellence, and brand success.

Retail Intern Benelux:

The Retail Operations Team consist of 4 departments: Retail, Maintenance, Construction & Real Estate. The Retail Operations team Benelux is responsible for all operational matters in the Benelux market. Think of answering questions from the shops, various (retail) projects, store maintenance, organizing events and much more. You will join an enthusiastic team and be led by the Head of Operations Benelux. During this internship, you will support the Retail, Maintenance and Real Estate Coordinators from our head office in Amsterdam, and sometimes visits to our Antwerp office.

What you’ll do:

• As a Retail Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the success of Rituals across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxemburg. Reporting to the Sr. Retail Team Lead, you will serve as a vital link between the head office and over 170 stores across the countries.
• Working alongside other Retail, Maintenance and Real Estate coordinators and specialists, you will manage day-to-day operations, respond to ad hoc queries from Store teams, and facilitate clear communication from our international head office to our store teams.
•  Additionally, you will contribute to the implementation of various retail projects, ensuring that our teams are equipped to deliver exceptional service.

Wholesale Travel & Retail – Operations Intern:

The Wholesale & Travel Retail – Operations Intern will be part of the Wholesale & Travel Retail Department which operates from the head office in Amsterdam. The Wholesale & Travel Retail team is responsible to define the strategy and development of the global Wholesale & Travel Retail business, whilst providing excellent support to both internal as external stakeholders.

The Wholesale & Travel Retail – Operations Intern will provide assistance to the Operations team, to support with the daily operational tasks such Monitoring data of sales performances, coordination of weekly Wholesale & Travel Retail Newsletter, organization of training events, and support towards the towards the Wholesale & Travel Retail teams in the local markets.  

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinating the weekly Wholesale & Travel Retail Newsletter
• Support S&OE (Sales, Operations & Execution) process
• Support in monitoring of data of sales
• Support in organization of events / hand over moments local markets
• Other back-bone related support

Digital Wholesale - Global Pure Players Intern

Do you wish to advance your career in a young, driven, global team of professionals? Would you like to learn more about the dynamic e-commerce world of Online Partners of Rituals worldwide? Are you interested in finding out more about the digital retail landscape? Do you want to work with international partners on a daily basis? This could be the ideal internship for you. The International Pure Players team is part of the Digital Wholesale- & Trade Marketing team. The Pure Player team is in charge of all international online partners, such as Zalando, Lyko, The Hut Group, and ParfumDreams. As intern in our Pure Player team, you are responsible for the following activities:

What You’ll Do:

• Maintaining the International Pure Player websites’ look and feel, ensuring that our partners are on-brand and adhere to Rituals standards.
• Assist in exporting and communicating new content and copy for the product detail pages (PDPs).
• Support the introduction of new Rituals products with every product launch by communicating product information through our master data.
• Help with the planning and roll-out of online marketing campaigns.
• Responsible for the Pure Players’ weekly team meeting presentations.
• Support and work closely together with the Sr. Coordinator on a daily base.
• Help the Account Managers and Sr. Coordinator with ad hoc operational requests.
• Regularly check the partner’s website for categorization and out-of-stocks.

Wholesale Benelux Intern:

Wil jij jezelf ontwikkelen in een jong, ambitieus en internationaal team? Ben je geïnteresseerd in de dynamische wereld van de shop-in-shop-omgeving in de Benelux? Dan is deze stage jou op het lijf geschreven Het Wholesale Benelux team is verantwoordelijk voor alle shop-in-shops in de Benelux. Enkele voorbeelden hiervan zijn de RITUALS shop-in-shops in de Bijenkorf, ICI Paris XL en Douglas parfumerieën. Je komt terecht in een jong en enthousiast team en staat onder leiding van de Head of Wholesale Benelux. Tijdens de stage ondersteun je de Marketing Specialist vanuit ons hoofdkantoor in Amsterdam.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

• Het ondersteunen van de Wholesale Marketing Specialist
• Het omzetten, verwerken en analyseren van data
• De nieuwsbrief opzetten voor onze Wholesale countermanagers
• Het opmaken & uitsturen van briefings
• Commercieel meedenken over bijvoorbeeld productlanceringen of promoties
• Het opstellen van presentaties m.b.t. nieuwe product lanceringen
• Het bieden van ondersteuning t.b.v. het trainingsprogramma binnen Wholesale Nederland
• De afhandeling van ad hoc operationele verzoeken vanuit de accountmanagers en onze Wholesale partners

Practicalities

All internships are located in Amsterdam, at our Central Head Office. We are looking for interns for 32-40 hours a week, from the 1st of February 2025, for 5-6 months.

• Education: Currently studying in HBO/WO education in Communication/ Business Administration/Hotel Management/ Marketing/Branding/ Economics and other. *Please note we can only accept applications from candidates who are actively enrolled in their study.
• Excellent communication skills in English (and for Benelux positions Dutch)
• You are pro-active, independent, inquisitive and solution-oriented
• Good skills: planning, organization, and multitasking
• You can work with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
