In a nutshell
As Functional Application Manager you will contribute to a stable and efficient IT Service management organization by taking ownership of the Identity and Access Management suite (IdentityNow) as well as our main ITSM tool (Jira).
This means you will be taking care of the configuration of roles and entitlements in order to grant employees access to systems on a need-to-know basis. You will make sure employees are granted the correct roles automatically or that access to applications can be requested from the self-service portal. System owners will seek your advice on the authorisation management and design of their application. Together with the IAM team you will ensure that the access reviews are conducted in a timely manner and will identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
Besides the IAM tool the functional managers within the IT Services Team take care of Jira, which is currently used as our main ITSM tool. Responsibilities include the maintenance of the authorization design, creation and modification of project and related workflows.
The Team
The IT Services team consists of 4 1st line support engineers, 4 2nd line system administrators, 2 IT process managers and 2 Functional Application Managers. The team is tasked to provide an excellent digital workspace and experience towards our colleagues. The team reports to the IT Services Lead within the IT Functions and Foundation stream. At Knab you will have the autonomy to pursue your own initiatives and responsibilities
At Knab we are organized alongside Valuestreams, consisting of multiple agile teams, operations departments and a support team. There are Value Streams organized around our Customer Propositions: Daily Use, Financial Freedom and Lending. Next to the valuestreams there is also the supporting stream: IT Functions and Foundations. By organizing this way: we achieve more focus and a higher speed of delivery.

English and Dutch, both written and spoken; Experience with or the will to learn Azure Active Directory; Experience with or the will to learn IdentityNow; Experience with or the will to learn Jira; ITL Certified; Familiar with role based access control (RBAC) and Identity and Access Management (IAM); Familiar with ticketing systems.Diversity Statement: Come as you are.
