Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager who always maintains the overview with the highest standards of service. In this role, you'll oversee all check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions. As Assistant Front Office Manager you are responsible for leading, coaching, training and motivating your team. In addition, you know how to approach guests and through your authenticity you give each guest a unique feeling by creating Authentic Luxury moments.

Your main responsibilities are;

  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the Front Office;
  • Handling guest complaints and resolving issues;
  • Working closely together with the other hotel departments;
  • Constantly ensuring guest satisfaction and LQA standards;
  • Monitoring KPI’s and making adjustments when necessary;
  • Maintaining accurate records of Front Office operations, transactions and inventories;
  • Implementing policies and procedures to improve Front Office efficiency and guest satisfaction;
  • Responsible for driving the upsell within the Front Office team;
  • Monitor daily arrivals and action as appropriate for any VIP or special request;
  • Ensure the Front Office team is up-to-date with current information and data of the hotel products and services including room types, rates, features and facilities, food and beverage outlets & promotions, spa and health club, and other services;
  • Supervise the sales and costs, to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved.

Qualifications

  • Proven Front Office skills in luxury and high volume environment with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • A natural “drive” to get to know people and to exceed expectations;
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution expertise;
  • Guest-oriented, affinity with planning and organizing and eye for details;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with an hands-on mentality;
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed;
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language, Dutch is a plus.
