Background information
ASML Customer Support (CS) is responsible to service a global installed base of thousands machines in a 24x7 operation with > 9000 employees worldwide.
Within Customer Support DUV Installed base and Cost Management, we (Programs & Projects team) identify and drive operational and process improvement projects to enable the field operations to be successful.
Your assignment
Within the team, your main assignment will be to work alongside the project leads and support in their work in investigating process or performance gaps, identifying improvement opportunities and driving improvements together with our worldwide community.
This assignment will depend on the ongoing projects at the time of your arrival, which are diverse in nature, but all contribute to operational efficiency and cost effectiveness with CS DUV Field Operations. As such this is a great opportunity to develop work experience and to see how the worldwide renowned company of ASML operates.
Your profile
To be the perfect match for this assignment you:
Are a bachelor or master student with educational background in Industrial Engineering or a related field;
Are looking to gain work experience (apprentice internship) or do your thesis (graduation);
Have affinity with project management;
Have strong communication skills, are able to deal with resistance and are self-driven;
Can flourish in a multi-cultural setting. English is required.
Your assignment duration will depend on your own work experience, duration and the nature of the assignment. You will be expected to work on-site 60% of the time.
