Global Strategic Accounts Manager

About this role:
For the next stage of our journey, we are looking for an inspiring and organised sales lead to supercharge Retail Media growth and drive top performance through a team of (global) strategic account managers, managing our largest global brand accounts and media agencies.
As our Global Strategic Account Manager, you will be part of the new Global Retail Media Department, that sits within the Global Sales organisation. You will be the consultant for a range of vital new strategic sales initiatives, helping to formulate, launch, standardise and optimise our existing and new ad products. You will work cross-functionally with several strategically important teams such as Retail, Sales, Sales Strategy, Product, Marketing and Tech.
You will work with the Head of Sales Retail Media in setting the scope and driving retail media sales programs for the wider Sales organisation, and across the company globally to ensure that sales meet the targets and objectives agreed by the business. You will be the go to person for retail media sales and be responsible for consulting and training (Strategic) Account Managers.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:- Support the Global and local Sales Team to adapt our global vision and global strategic roadmap to changing market needs;
- Work closely with country sales leadership, to consult on retail media sales initiatives and monitor execution;
- Use relevant analysis and dashboards, to drive data-driven decision-making;
- Act as the point of contact from Retail Media towards the sales population when it concerns advertising consultation.
What will you bring to the table?
- Experience in Sales within the Retail Media space;
- Great knowledge of media and agencies landscape;
- Great network within FMCG & CPG brands;
- Ability to managing multi functional sales initiatives with a global scope;
- Great communicator and excellent presenter who adapts to different audiences;
- Independent thinker, proactive, able to see the big picture who thinks “one step ahead”;
- Comfortable working with ambiguity within a fast-paced environment;
- High energy, autonomy and resilience with a “get it done” attitude.
