Construction Superintendent

Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized inproject support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry.
We provide expertise in the field of Engineering,Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction andSafety.

• Shall be required to undertake dutiesas requested by the Construction Manager.
• Shall display Leadership and work within anIntegrate Owner/EPCm) Team and Construction
• Contractors to achieve Projectobjectives.
• Shall beresponsible and accountable to review, comment, and approveconstruction execution and related procedure specifications, anddeliverables prepared by the EPCm.
• Contractor and ConstructionContractors.
• ConstructionSuperintendent shall act as an ambassador and lead by example onall INEOS.
• HSE live savingrules and ensure a safe working environment within the constructionareas
• The ConstructionSuperintendent shall support the Construction Manager on mattersrelated to site technical decisions to better achieve flawlessconstruction execution and transition tocommissioning.
• A dynamic rolerequiring the Construction Superintendent to demonstrate capacityto take workload, work with accuracy, be inventive and have theability to multi-task. across multi constructiondisciplines.
• Workingeffectively within established procedures and participates in allimportant meetings
andworkshops as required by Construction Manager (e.g. weekly andmonthly meetings.
•Constructability, Construction and Completion SequenceReviews).
• Strong ability toinfluence others who are not in his direct control to achieveProject objectives.
• Bringsolutions and provide support to the Construction Manager but notgenerate “micromanagement” or unnecessary works to the ConstructionContractors.
• Be inventive tobring technical and execution solutions that favour safeconstruction xecution
andtransition to commissioning activities.
• Facilitate periodic meetings with the EPCmContractor and Construction contractors as required by theConstruction Manager.
• Performother duties as assigned by the ConstructionManager.
• Manage ad-hocrequests related to project operational and project logisticsactivities.

• Technical background as a CivilDiscipline Engineer, Project Field Engineer, or ConstructionSuperintendent, with solid Project Executionexperience.
• More than fifteen(15) years in Project Execution, with a strong background inconstruction
• management oflarge green field construction activities.
• Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP)methodology and systems completion
management.
•Experience with multi-cultural type Projects.
• Good understanding of English in speaking andwriting and by preference fluent inDutch.
