Position overview
In role of Technical Service and Business Development Manager we are seeking for highly motivated individual who is capable and interested to combine strong customer support with business development, with an initial focus on gaining in-depth technical knowledge of our products, before moving to market.
If you have strong technical knowledge in resins, paints and coatings, combined with excellent communication skills and passion for helping our customers – role is designed for you
- Supporting our customers the automotive coatings market, combining customer support with business development aspect;
- Being technical focal point for our customers, raising awareness of allnex product range and technical capabilities, identifying new business leads, developing customer relations and offering appropriate technical solutions that fit customer’s needs;
- Contributing to the New Product Development strategy for business by bringing information from the market on customer unmet needs as well as feedback on product performance of existing products;
- Contributing to lab activities related to specific products, customers and projects;
- Development of technical documentation and orientating formulations for our resin products;
- Conducting technical training sessions for customers, distributors and internal teams on the use and benefits of our resins & additives;
- Ensuring good internal and external reporting and communication. Supporting product launches, developing orientating formulations and sales tools including brochures and technical data’s for launch to ensure successful introduction of defined products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience;
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical, business development or sales role within the paints and coatings industry, ideally related to automotive industry;
- Knowledge of resin products and their applications in automotive or metal and protective coatings;
- Familiarity with relevant testing used in the paints and coatings industry;
- Excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite;
- Fluent English language skills.
