As Learning and Development Lead Legal & Compliance you will be responsible for driving, leading and enabling of the Legal, Regulatory & Compliance (“LRC”) Academy.

Role and responsibilities

In this position you will be responsible for the Legal & Compliance Learning & Knowledge Management program. You will design the LRC Academy strategy and manage that business needs are embedded into relevant and impactful roadmaps and solutions in alignment with the LRC Academy relevant colleges.

You will set up, manage and lead the potential LRC Academy and L&C Knowledge Management resources, a mostly virtual team with 1 direct report and a mix of internal and external resources. You ensure that this virtual team is high performing, motivated, qualified, and empowered to execute their responsibilities in line with set objectives.

You will develop and propose annual business plans, aligning needs with business strategy and ASML L&KM Global strategy, building a network of relevant stakeholders and managing their expectations continuously. Working closely with other Academy Leads and the ASML Knowledge Management team, you ensure alignment and collaboration across the Academies and within the ASML Knowledge Management program.

Another important aspect will be implementing processes and tooling that is (designated to be) organized on ASML Academy and Knowledge Management wide level, and if needed. propose, initiate, and develop processes, organization and tooling. In this you ensure continuous improvement in the policies, processes, structure, products, or services, safeguarding quality standards.

In short, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Drive, lead and enable the development and performance of the LRC Academy, servicing the business in all agreed needs, by developing structure, processes, content, and tooling, facilitated by a team of L&KM professionals, and contracting and offering services.

Contribute to the ASML Global L&KM performance by enhancing continuous improvement, co-operation, and joint development with colleagues in the L&KM organization.

Drive/lead the Knowledge Management program within the Legal & Compliance department, in alignment with the ASML team of L&KM professionals.

The Learning and Development Lead will be part of the Legal & Compliance Operations and Strategy Execution Team, reporting to the Legal & Compliance Operations and Strategy Execution Team, Chief of Staff.

Education and experience

To thrive in this position, it is important that you are a natural networker, have great team-spirit, collaboration and stakeholder management skills. You are able to build solid relationships, connecting people and gain trust at different levels in the organization and have the ability to lead and drive a program in situations where authority is not a given.

Ideally, you will bring these competences and skills to the table:

10+ years’ experience in the area of Learning Management.

Strong business orientation and flexibility.

Excellent analytic skills and operational motivation; a creative mindset and international outlook.

Autonomy and ability to organize and prioritize your workload.

Quality and risk-management orientation.

Experience / understanding on Legal & Compliance related matters is preferable.
