We are looking for an Accessories Designer for a well-known fashion brand with HQ in Amsterdam 

You will collaborate on the design and development of the Accessories Collection, while also providing additional support on various projects for the Footwear Design division. You will report into the Senior Design Director for Accessories and Footwear.

BeschrijvingResponsibilities: Accessories Designer - Temporary

The role requires you to:

  • Develop and provide design and technical support for handbags and small leather goods (SLG’s) under the guidance of the Senior designer;
  • Conduct trend and concept research to introduce innovative ideas and enhance the collection's functionality;
  • Possess thorough knowledge of technical design and construction to aid in creating technical specifications for vendors;
  • Be capable of managing multiple seasons simultaneously and work with flexibility;
  • Create up-to-date boards of apparel prints and colours every season;
  • Generate and maintain current digital design overviews of bags and small leather goods;
  • Assist the design team with any necessary design modifications throughout development stages;
  • Create both digital and hard copies of seasonal colour cards;
  • Support the design team with presentation preparations.
RequirementsRequirements: Accessories Designer - Temporary

We are seeking a candidate for this position who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Holds a degree in fashion design, with a preference for accessories or product design;
  • Has a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in accessories design;
  • Must have expert knowledge of Illustrator;
  • Capable of providing product direction and making decisions;
  • Displays a thorough understanding of color theory, concept development, materials, and trends, particularly pertaining to accessories markets;
  • Exhibits strong digital sketching abilities, with knowledge of scale and perspective;
  • Thrives in a hands-on, active, problem-solving, open-minded, dynamic, fun, and fast-paced environment;
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and is fluent in English.
SalarisOffer: Accessories Designer - Temporary

You will work in a dynamic and international environment. The salary will be market conform based on experience and education.
