Business Analyst/ Requirements Engineer

Opdrachtomschrijving
The analyst/ requirements engineer to hire is responsible for permanent analysis, documentation and improvement of:

existing and/ or incoming software change requests software code/ functionalities, which need to be documented outside the code test cases and test scenarios for planned and/ or developed modules in the overall context of an already started web application development project.

By doing so, he or she contributes to ensure that the application-under-development is properly documented to fulfill existing security certification criterias and finally the expectations of customers from 7 nations using this application.

The described post holder works as business analyst/ requirements engineer and is part of a mixed team (civilian and military personnel).
He/ she will not lead or otherwise manage the section/ the team.
The main tasks are:

review and assess existing application views/ screens/ components/ functionalities verify existing extend and level-of-detail of corresponding documentation parts where applicable, create new or enrich existing requirements to document the as-is work closely together with other team members fulfilling business analyst, developer or test engineer roles to retrieve the (missing) information-to-be-elicitated as broad and complete as possible receives, evaluates, analyzes in detail and assesses application-related change requests/ bug reports and resulting software requirements by utilizing available applications. provides finally analyzed issues (enriched with additional documents/ files/ mock-ups, if and where usefull or mandatory to get the full picture), by utilizing available application(s). reviews and analyses generated program code. creates program code-detailing or -explaining pieces of documentation by utilizing available applications. contributes through before mentioned activities to overall documentation activities. supports superior officers permanently by: developing a detailed estimate for each assignment and contributing to the management of the internal product backlog.

Organisatie
The EATC is an international organisation (that is exempt from VAT) where English is the main language. Because of this, the CV has to be delivered in English. Beside this, the candidate MUST deliver a letter with his/her motivation in English (knock-out criteria). This letter can only be 1 A4 paper.

Eisen en wensen voor de functie Business Analyst/ Requirements Engineer

Harde-eisen working language: English; Reading (B2) + Writing (B2) + Speaking (B2) + Listen (B2) practical experenece in writing/ rewriting software development-related user requirements from different requestor level perspectives (3 jaar) practical experience as business analyst or as requirements engineer within a software development unit/ organization. (2 jaar) practical experience in working with ATLASSIAN CONFLUENCE or JIRA. (2 jaar)

Wensen

Experience in designing and coding of web-based enterprise applications in Java

Experience in writing unit tests

Expereince with tools like ATLASSIAN Confluence, Jira or equivalent alternatives

Experience with working in an international environment.

Experience in working within an agile software development&test team (SCRUM)
