MNX Global Logistics BV is looking for a Junior Logistics Coordinator for their location in Amsterdam. This is an entry level role where you get the opportunity to learn the ropes. Our customers are life science companies and airlines, and ultimately patients count on us

This is MNXAt MNX we are very customer oriented. We ensure that high-quality shipments arrive within set and tight() timelines, required specifications and according to the expectations of our customers. We ship all over the world.

As a Junior Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting logistics processes within the company. You will help coordinate transportation, manage inventory and optimize the flow of goods. You will work closely with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate transportation: Arrange inbound and outbound shipments, both domestic and international.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventories, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Order processing: Processing incoming and outgoing orders and entering them accurately into the system.
  • Contacts with carriers: Maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders and other logistics partners.
  • Planning and organization: Assist in planning shipments and preparing delivery schedules.
  • Shipping and documentation: Prepare shipping documents (such as bills of lading, customs forms) and ensure proper shipping.
  • Problem solving: Resolve logistics problems such as delayed deliveries, inventory shortages and transportation problems.
  • Quality control: Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety requirements within the logistics chain.
  • Cost control: Assist in controlling transportation costs and finding cost-effective solutions.
  • Support reporting: Provide daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports for management.

Job Requirements

You are action oriented and detailed oriented  and you make every effort to ensure that the job gets done in a proper and timely manner. You are passionate about sending life science products. You like to work under high time pressure, take high responsibility and have a great eye for detail. You hold yourself and others accountable and you are very customer focused.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Minimum of a completed MBO degree in logistics, supply chain management or administrative field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain management, internships or side jobs all count.
  • Knowledge of systems: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Any experience with logistics software is a plus. 
  • Language skills: Good command of the English languages, both verbal and written. Any other language is a plus.
  • Communication skills: Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical ability: Able to analyze logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Problem solving ability: Able to react quickly to unexpected situations and provide solutions independently.
  • Organizational skills: Strong in organizing and planning several tasks simultaneously.
  • Stress resistant: Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Important

  • You must live in the Netherlands and have a Dutch residence and a valid work permit.
  • You must be able to obtain a VGB, therefor, you must have lived in NL or in the EU for the last 8 years.
