The ambition for EMEA region is huge. As the EMEA Marketplaces Merchandising Manager you will play an important role in delivering the strategy for growth in the region via ensuring we have winning plans everyday and perfect consumer journeys across our marketplaces.
About the role.
At Dyson our Owner is central to everything we do. Your role will make sure that owners are getting fantastic experience, every day on our Regional Key Accounts. This will include close collaboration with creative, marketing, category, agency and account teams. You’ll get hands on in everything from SKU set up, to media planning to content optimisation to channel strategy and planning.
Ultimately this role is ideal for an experienced merchandiser/trade marketer looking to take their next step on a stretching and challenging learning curve carving out a new way forward for Dyson. It will require creativity, problem solving, resilience and networking to do so.
About you.
Dyson is a fast paced and agile company. The below is an example of your main accountabilities but is not a complete list - what matters to us, is relevant experience alongside innovative thinking and a drive to deliver across e-commerce EMEA markets.
Accountabilities:
Deliver gre, on brand at onsite experiences for consumers on our regional key accounts: Ensuring that we are optimising how we are demonstrating our tech and delivering Dyson message in a digital setting. On site Media planning: Work with account teams and marketplaces agencies to plan and execute plans that deliver incremental revenue at an efficient ROAS. Passionate owner of Dyson content for your channel: Work with global, regional, local and agency counterparts to ensure we have the right content for your marketplace partners. SKU set up and planning: Work with supply, account and agency teams to ensure that Dyson sku’s are set up and optimised to maximise sell out Brand & Creative guidelines: Ensure that Dyson brand guidelines are being met at all times on our marketplace partners and in line with our new criteria. Key Events: Work with Account teams on planning for key events, ensuring that the consumer journey is fully optimised. Testing and evaluation: Work with marketplace setting on A/B testing roadmap looking to scale learnings where possible. Optimise content for SEO: Optimise content on site for SEO and marketplaces search algorithms. External networking and partner: Build collaborative, value adding and strategic partnerships with our external marketplaces partners, seek to understand their business in depth to unlock new value adding opportunity.Skills and Required Experience:
Minimum of 4-5 years of commercial hands on experience of consumer journeys in a Digital setting, merchandising, trading plans & media planning Must have experience in managing budgets and spend- planning, implementation and evaluation. Previous experience working with retailer agencies is highly beneficial. Must have experience working with CMS and merchandising tools Must have experience in effectively managing a matrixed structure. Energised by commercial challenges and delivering plans in a fast paced dynamic environment. A positive attitude and bias for action, looks for solutions and creative ways of achieving goals despite set backs. Previous experience working with global and regional structure in a brand with detailed creative guidelines is beneficial. Strong communicator: Able to clearly communicate technical issues in a simple laymen’s terminology. Keen eye for detail particularly within a digital setting Low ego, happy to flow to work in times of need seamlessly moving from highly strategic concepts to operational projects.
