For the European Medicines Agency we are looking for a Program and project management Assistant in the office of Staff Relations & Support responsible for:


  • Supporting HR strategic objectives, in particular related to productivity (process improvement) and data management, including programs execution, change management initiatives and projects by conducting administrative, procedural and operational activities, ensuring accurate, high quality and timely delivery within the relevant areas of expertise.

Role specific duties & responsibilities:


  • The candidate should support the redesign of existing processes and participate to agile teams involved in the development of the relevant IT systems to digitalize those processes.
  • The candidate should support the Division's data management framework initiative, supporting both governance drafting and the execution of the first technical proof of concept and MVPs.
  • Support to additional Division's or Agency's initiatives (e.g., Women support network) may also be requested.
  • Activities of the organisational entity within which the job holder carries out those tasks; 
  • The set of annual performance and development objectives, which are established together with the reporting officer;
  • The requirement to comply with SOPs, WINs, confidentiality undertaking and other documentation relevant to the role and its scope. These will be agreed upon with the reporting officer upon assuming duties.

  • Required: A level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma,
  • or a level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience of at least three years;

Essential requirements:


  • The candidate should have understanding and direct experience in program management, in particular with reference to governance and reporting. Skills in using Microsoft technologies to develop MS Teams sites, channels and reporting tools based on MS PowerBi should also be relevant.
  • Ability to develop and revise MS powerpoint presentation for different stakeholder groups would be an additional requirement.
  • Up to 6 years of relevant professional experience;
  • In coordinating and organising projects and / or initiatives;
  • In dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Knowledge:


  • Knowledge and practice of frameworks (at least one year)

Salary range:

  • 3565,45 gross per month (5 years of experience,
  • 4034,08 gross per month (5 - 15 years of experience)
  • 4564,30 gross per month (15 years of experience or more)
